Terms of Service

RouterPlex is an AI gateway: it gives you a single API and a single prepaid balance for accessing large language and image models operated by third-party providers. We route your requests to those providers and meter your usage per token (or per image) at the prices published in our model catalog.

Model availability depends on upstream providers. Models may be added, removed, renamed, or repriced at any time; the live catalog is always the source of truth.

You must provide accurate information when registering and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account and your API keys. If you believe a key has been compromised, delete it in the dashboard immediately — revocation is instant. One person or legal entity may hold only one account; creating multiple accounts to collect promotional credit repeatedly is prohibited.

The Service is prepaid: you top up a balance and every request deducts its metered cost. No subscription is required and there is no minimum spend. Optional monthly plans add credits to your pooled balance each billing period and apply account-wide 4-hour, weekly, and monthly spend windows. Reaching any plan window pauses requests until that window resets, including requests funded by separately purchased credit. Funded pay-as-you-go accounts have no RouterPlex product-level RPM, TPM, or usage-window cap, although upstream-provider and infrastructure safety limits always apply. Plans renew automatically until cancelled, and cancelling stops future charges at the end of the current billing period. Balance top-ups and plan payments are processed by third-party payment providers (card and cryptocurrency); we never see or store your card number.

Purchased credit does not expire. Promotional credit (where offered) has no cash value, is non-transferable, and may be withdrawn in cases of abuse. Except where required by law, top-ups are non-refundable once consumed; unused purchased credit may be refunded at our discretion on request. When your balance reaches zero, requests stop — your balance can never go negative and you can never be charged more than you deposited.

Promotional credit. We may offer promotional credit from time to time; no promotional credit is guaranteed, and any promotion may be limited to one grant per person and subject to eligibility conditions (such as account age or verification). Until an account makes its first paid top-up, promotional credit may be usable only with a subset of models and at reduced rate limits. Promotional credit amounts, eligibility rules, and restrictions may change at any time, and we may deny or revoke promotional credit from accounts we reasonably believe are attempting to abuse a promotion.

You agree not to use the Service to:

• violate any applicable law or regulation;
• generate content that is illegal, or that facilitates serious harm to others (including malware, weapons development, or child sexual abuse material);
• infringe intellectual-property or privacy rights of others;
• probe, scan, overload, or disrupt the Service or its upstream providers;
• resell raw access to the Service in a way that circumvents per-key limits or these Terms;
• circumvent rate limits, spend limits, or safety systems of the Service or of upstream model providers.

Upstream providers apply their own usage policies to requests we route to them; their refusals or filters are outside our control.

You retain all rights to the prompts you send and, to the extent permitted by upstream providers, the outputs you receive. You grant us the limited right to process your prompts solely to operate the Service — i.e. to forward them to the model provider you selected and return the response. We do not use your prompts or outputs to train models.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, and we are dependent on third-party model providers whose performance, pricing, and availability can change without notice. AI model outputs are probabilistic and may be inaccurate; you are responsible for evaluating outputs before relying on them.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising out of or related to the Service is limited to the amount you paid to RouterPlex in the three (3) months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill.

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, abuse promotional credit, or create risk for the Service or its providers. Where practical we will notify you and, for paid balances unaffected by abuse, refund unused purchased credit.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced on the website or by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance.
