GLM-5.3 Abliterated API: $4/$6 Pricing and Setup
GLM-5.3 Abliterated costs $4 input and $6 output per 1M tokens on RouterPlex. Model id glm-5.3-abliterated. Checked 23 October 2026.

GLM-5.3 Abliterated API pricing on RouterPlex is $4 per 1M input tokens and $6 per 1M output tokens. Cached input is $0.70, and the model id is glm-5.3-abliterated. Checked 23 October 2026, and the page for that id is GLM-5.3 Abliterated.
This is an abliterated build of Z.ai's GLM-5.3. Refusal behaviour was removed from the weights, so it takes on security work the stock model declines. RouterPlex sets the rate, and it is not Z.ai's list price.
RouterPlex publishes this comparison and sells the prepaid wallet described below.

What it is for #
Stock models often refuse legitimate security work. A refusal-removed model answers it. Teams red-team their own LLM apps and test guardrails with real attack prompts. They write penetration-test reports for systems they are authorized to test. They ask how a disclosed CVE works, then draft detection rules and patches for it. Incident responders use it to read suspicious scripts and logs. Others build evaluation sets on sensitive topics without the model stopping halfway.
You are still bound by the terms. Authorized work is your responsibility, and the model can be wrong, so check what it gives you.

| Who sets the rate | RouterPlex | Vendor list |
The stock row is the vendor list rate in the same catalog. The abliterated row is a RouterPlex rate. A $5 balance covers 1.25 million fresh input tokens, or about 833,000 output tokens, before the mix of a real call.
Cached input is the part of a prompt the host has already seen. Two worked sums, both with 2,000 output tokens:
- A cold 40,000 token prompt costs $0.172. That is $0.16 of input plus $0.012 of output.
- The same prompt with 30,000 tokens cached costs $0.073. That is $0.04 fresh, $0.021 cached, and $0.012 output.
Stock glm-5.3 on the cold mix costs $0.0648. Use the stock route when you do not need the weight edit. Its setup is in GLM-5.3 API pricing.
For high-volume runs in the same family, GLM-5.3 Flash Abliterated costs $0.50 and $1.60.
Specs on the RouterPlex route #
The catalog marks chat, tool calls, image input, and reasoning as on. Context is 1,048,576 tokens. Max output is 131,072, and the model page lists reasoning effort as low, high, or max. We checked low, high, and max with live calls on 23 October 2026.
The model page describes the route for security research and other work the stock model declines, and you still have to follow the terms. Outputs can be wrong. Check them before you rely on them.
Setup with curl and Claude Code #
Export the key, and the example prompt only checks that the route answers.
curl https://api.routerplex.com/v1/chat/completions \-H "Authorization: Bearer $ROUTERPLEX_API_KEY" \-H "Content-Type: application/json" \-d '{"model": "glm-5.3-abliterated","messages": [{"role": "user", "content": "Reply with exactly: RouterPlex connected."}]}'
For Claude Code, or any Anthropic-style client, point the base URL at the gateway and set the model id.
export ANTHROPIC_BASE_URL=https://api.routerplex.comexport ANTHROPIC_AUTH_TOKEN=$ROUTERPLEX_API_KEYexport ANTHROPIC_MODEL=glm-5.3-abliterated
The OpenAI SDK uses https://api.routerplex.com/v1. Details of that shape are in the OpenAI-compatible API guide. Agent routing is in Claude Code Router.
Use the dotted id in JSON. Use the hyphen page in the browser. /models/glm-5.3-abliterated is a 404. /models/glm-5-3-abliterated is the live page.
Errors you will hit #
The $1 trial key is not free access to this model, and there is no free credit for it. The call returns HTTP 402 with type paid_model_required. Add a paid top-up, and the minimum is $5 and the top-up fee is $0.
The prepaid balance stops at $0, and it never goes negative. A hard spend cap on the key stops the key when the cap is reached. That is separate from the account balance.
A 402 on OpenRouter can mean the balance went negative, and that fix is in Fix an OpenRouter 402. On this route, 402 from a trial key means you need a paid top-up.
An unknown model string returns model not found. Copy glm-5.3-abliterated from this page, and a stock client pointed at api.z.ai will not see this RouterPlex id.
Use and terms #
The route will answer some prompts that stock GLM-5.3 declines, and you are responsible for each prompt under the RouterPlex terms. Those terms bar illegal content, malware, weapons development, and child sexual abuse material.
Next step #
Create a free RouterPlex account, add a $5 top-up, then open GLM-5.3 Abliterated and send the curl above.
Common questions
Frequently asked questions
How much does the GLM-5.3 Abliterated API cost?
On RouterPlex, checked 23 October 2026, glm-5.3-abliterated is $4 per 1M input tokens, $0.70 per 1M cached input tokens, and $6 per 1M output tokens. RouterPlex sets this rate. It is not the Z.ai list price. Stock glm-5.3 is $1.40 and $4.40.
What model id and URL should I use?
Send model id glm-5.3-abliterated to https://api.routerplex.com/v1. The human page is https://routerplex.com/models/glm-5-3-abliterated. A dotted page path returns 404.
What is GLM-5.3 Abliterated used for?
Mostly security research where the stock model refuses: red-teaming your own LLM apps, penetration-test reports for systems you are authorized to test, explaining disclosed CVEs, and drafting detection rules. The RouterPlex terms still apply, and they bar malware, weapons development, and other illegal content.
Will the $1 trial key work?
No. The trial key is not free access to this model. There is no free credit for it. You get HTTP 402 and type paid_model_required until you add a paid top-up of at least $5.
What are context and max output?
The RouterPlex catalog on 23 October 2026 lists 1,048,576 context tokens and 131,072 max output tokens. Image input, tool calls, and reasoning are marked on. The model page lists reasoning effort as low, high, or max.
Can I call it from Claude Code?
Yes. Set ANTHROPIC_BASE_URL to https://api.routerplex.com, ANTHROPIC_AUTH_TOKEN to your RouterPlex key, and ANTHROPIC_MODEL to glm-5.3-abliterated. The key must be a paid key, not the $1 trial key.
Run the smallest paid test.
Add $5, cap the key, and verify the result with your own workload. No subscription, and credit never expires — a first top-up of $25+ is matched with $25 extra.
